Exquisite Vocal Jazz in the Heart of Scotland

A soulful jazz vocalist with a warm, rich tone, Chevonne Jones brings a modern flair to the timeless traditions of jazz and blues.  Drawing inspiration from the storytelling of Ella Fitzgerald and the improvisational freedom of Sarah Vaughan, her performances are a captivating blend of emotional depth and playful scatting.

Originally from London, she has performed at renowned venues such as the world-renowned Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, 606 Club, Vortex, The Effra, Jazz Café, and Ain't Nothing But The Blues.

A classically trained singer, she honed her skills under Royal Academy of Music Alumna Sandra Scott, as well as studying jazz vocal at Goldsmiths University.

She now calls Glasgow home and is a celebrated member of the thriving and vibrant jazz community. She has performed at The Basement Jazz Club, Butterfly and Pig, and Avant Garde in Merchant City, Epicures, as well as a regular spot at open jams at The Lismore and Storm Queen in Partick.
